Our Flexible Educational Approach
Teach to the whole child
We utilize The Experience Curriculum at Azeez Academy, which is an experiential, project-based curriculum that ensures each child receives a holistic learning experience to be a well-rounded learner. This means that a chld’s social-emotional skills are just as important as their cognitive and physical ones. This mission allows us to offer a beautiful, play-based learning experience to each child without compromising the foundations of their future academic growth.
Individualized learning
We also believe our children deserve more than the standard one-size-fits all experience. Utilizing a mixed-age classroom model and a project-based curriculum, we are able to meet each child where they are and support them as they learn on their own trajectory and on their own terms. For children aged 2-5, we utilize an approach that honors the individual student’s unique learning journey while meeting or exceeding all National standards.
Reconnect with Nature
We are a play-based and nature-based preschool to balance the reality of the digital world we live in. Being outside and reconnecting with nature is instrinsic to the childhood experience. We don’t just expect our students to get dirty, we encourage it! Exploring is learning!
A Day in the Life
9:00-9:30: Morning Recess & Drop-off window
9:30-10:00: Morning Circle
10:30-11:00: Snack time
11:00-12:00: Project Work
12:00-12:30: Lunch
12:30-1:00: Recess
1:00-1:30: Meditation/Yoga time & Wind down
Nature-based
Our learners start the day outside, end the day outside and have a mid-day recess. We actively maintain a tech-free space with lots of outdoor, nature time - rain or shine!
Ages 2-3.5 1:30-2:30: Nap time
Ages 3.5-5 1:30-2:30: STEAM afternoons
2:30-3:00: Outdoor Recess
3:00: Pick up
3:00-5:00: Optional Aftercare time

Optional Programs
Morning & Aftercare
Our School day is from 9:00-3:00 but to support families, we offer optional Morning care starting at 8:00am and aftercare ending at 5:30pm.
Summer Camps
Summer camp is for children aged 2-10 and comprised of weekly camps with different themes from 9:30-3:00pm, Monday-Friday. Choose any or all weeks that work for your family’s Summer schedule.
